Maybe a 'shutdown ritual' can help you maintain a better work-life balance during COVID-19
For those fortunate enough to still have a job, who are working and living under one roof, establishing so-called “shutdown rituals” or routines has become increasingly important to maintain a semblance of a healthy work-life balance (if such a thing exists at this point).
Five months into the pandemic, employees now toiling in their living spaces say they’re marking the invisible passage from diligent worker to partner/parent/person-with-a-life by turning off laptops and then dancing, or taking a few laps around the block in the time they used to spend on a commute.
