While Oregon's teachers are a tremendous source of inspiration to so many of us, they deserve so much more. This was true before the COVID-19 pandemic. It is true now. It will be true once we've recovered.

My message here is simple: I stand with Oregon's teachers, and I'm thrilled to have them stand with me.

In this election, I'm honored to have earned the endorsement of the Oregon Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers ( AFT - Oregon).

Like so many, I would not be where I am today without the amazing public school teachers in my life - from elementary school through law school.

It's critical we support our teachers, especially as the Trump administration and their allies undervalue their work and seem to want to put them at risk during this pandemic.
