After a fierce round of questions from Mary Gay, Trump's Attorney General William Barr admitted that he was playing into the president's 2020 voter scare tactic. During that same hearing, Barr was asked if it was okay for any presidential candidates to seek or accept foreign help in elections, saying it "depends on what kind of assistance."
Like many other Trump administration officials, AG Barr has politicized the Justice Department to benefit the president. Mary Gay will continue being a fierce advocate for free and fair elections and counter GOP voter suppression efforts in the lead up to the November 3 election.
