I was blown away when my team surprised me with all of your well-wishes. I wasn't expecting it, and I want to thank you for helping make my birthday special.

August 4 was an exciting day for more reasons than one. States held their primaries from Washington to Missouri to Michigan. Missouri became the 39th state to expand Medicaid through the Affordable Care Act.

Our for-the-people agenda is resonating with voters across the country. We have a tough fight ahead of us, especially with our campaign moving our operations online. But I know we can finish what we started and keep winning for our community.

We must continue to remain unified, focused, and courageous in our crusade to improve the lives of everyday Americans. Whether you've volunteered, donated to our end-of-month goal, or sent a kind note of support -- thank you for being a part of our team. I couldn't do this without you.
