Writing again to remind you about the upcoming Town Hall Forum on the Unemployment Crisis [ [link removed] ] on Sunday, August 16, at 8:00 PM Eastern, 7:00 Central, and 5:00 Pacific. The Party has set itself the goal of registering 1000 people for this event. That means every club and member should plan to be there. In order to achieve this we need at least 100 people to sign up each day. Today we have 460. Can you help us reach 500 by midnight? What about your club members? Click here to register. The forum will feature conversations with Elise Bryant, President of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW); Kooper Caraway, President, Sioux Falls Central Labor Council; Brad Crowder, Austin Unemployed; Bill Fletcher, Executive Editor of globalafricanworker.com [ [link removed] ] and former director of TransAfrica Forum; Joe Henry, President, Iowa League of Latin American Citizens; and Judith LeBlanc, Director, Native Organizers Alliance. This is the next step in our efforts to win support for unemployment councils and organizing jobless workers.
