John, Last June, Prime Minister Trudeau announced that Canada would ban certain single-use plastics as early as 2021. But with less than six months left in the year, this government is running out of time to keep its promise. Urgent action is needed now! Not long ago, you signed our petition asking Canada to take meaningful action to address the plastic pollution crisis. Your voice, along with the thousands of other concerned individuals, pushed the federal government to take plastic pollution seriously. Now we need your help to make sure the government follows through with its commitment before it’s too late. Canadians throw away three million tonnes of plastic each year.
