“Death to America.”

That’s what a coalition of activist groups tied to Columbia University pushed out to the public on the same day the Iran war began.

There’s no context that softens that slogan. It means exactly what it says, and everyone knows it.

Columbia’s position, as usual, is that these groups are not officially affiliated with the university, and so the university can’t take responsibility for their statements and actions. That distinction has become a shield they hide behind every time something like this happens -- even though the leaders of these groups organize on campus, recruit on campus, and drive the culture on campus.

So, we went back… Again. ([link removed])

We brought our billboard truck back to Columbia and put the names of this coalition’s leaders on public display. ([link removed])

Nobody connected to this coalition has stepped forward to say that calling for the destruction of our country is a line they won’t cross. When we asked students about it, their answers were exactly what you would expect. Some tried to dodge it, others defended it, and a few acted like the question itself was the problem.

This is the environment Columbia allows. You’ve already seen what that environment produces.

This is the same environment that led to the Hamilton Hall takeover two years ago. Back then, a university employee was trapped inside by pro-Hamas radicals and said he feared for his life. The coalition’s spokeswoman made headlines when she demanded food deliveries for the occupying protesters. Columbia suspended her -- and then hired her after she graduated.

Nothing changes because there are no meaningful consequences. The statements get more extreme, the behavior escalates, and the university continues to pretend it’s all happening somewhere just outside its control.

It isn’t.

And it won’t stop unless someone forces the issue.

Go to ColumbiaHatesAmerica.com ([link removed]) and send a message directly to the Board of Trustees. If Columbia is going to allow this to continue, it should not continue to receive federal funding.

At some point, ignoring it becomes the decision. Columbia is already there.
