Dear Judicial Watch Member,
Right now, Judicial Watch investigators and
lawyers are working overtime on a broad range of important and timely
issues. That’s
why I hope will you support our efforts right now with your best
tax-deductible contribution to Judicial Watch as we fight
for the principle that “no one is above the law”–
especially this year when our focus is on protecting our election
safeguards.
We are especially working hard in this time before Election
Day fighting to preserve the integrity of our
elections.
It is clear the Left is going all out trying to undermine the 2020
elections and it pretty much guarantees there will be critical legal fights
over election procedures and election results from coast to
coast…
…and Judicial Watch will be smack in the middle.
That’s
why I am asking you to support our work right now.
With little more than three months until Election Day, we are focused
like a laser on combatting voter fraud and ensuring clean elections. And
our lawsuits couldn’t be better targeted at this time.
We are compelling states to comply with federal election law
requiring them to clean their voter registration rolls and remove the names
of ineligible voters who have died, moved away or are convicted felons or
non-citizens.
And given the Left’s efforts to push for “all mail-in
voting” on the pretext of the Covid-19 virus, winning each and every
one of these state battles is enormously important.
2018 set a record for election integrity litigation, and I have
no doubt that 2020 will be any different because of the virus-related push
for mail-in voting and other changes that could increase the risk for voter
fraud.
Judicial Watch is committed to upholding our election laws and the
principle that only eligible American citizens should be allowed to vote!
We must be ready to deploy lawyers anywhere in the country where we see a
chance to challenge violations.
We must be fully prepared
to respond!
Because when it comes to fighting to enforce election laws in state and
federal courts, Judicial Watch is just about the only game in town.
Already this year, our clean election lawsuits have been successful, and
they are having an impact:
- California settled a major Judicial Watch lawsuit and
recently began the process of removing up to 1.6 inactive names from Los
Angeles County’s voter rolls;
- We sued North Carolina and Pennsylvania
over their failure to follow federal law to maintain accurate
voter rolls…legal actions that could remove nearly 2 million more
ineligible names from their voter rolls; and
- We also successfully blocked California Governor
Newsom’s “mandate” requiring state counties to
blindly mail ballots to every registered voter, whether
“active” or “inactive” …which would have
dramatically increased the opportunities for voter fraud.
No one matches our record of forcing states to comply with election law
requiring states to make reasonable efforts to clean voter rolls between
elections…this is work Judicial Watch has taken on
because the Justice Department refuses to seriously enforce this
law.
We are now taking on the Left as they cynically exploit COVID-19 and
attempt to radically change our electoral system in ways that would flood
the mails with live ballots…and would dangerously eliminate many
election safeguards we have against voter fraud.
As you know, Judicial Watch is conservative, but non-partisan. Our
commitment is to the rule of law and helping ensure that NO eligible
American citizen …whatever their politicalaffiliation or
beliefs…has their vote stolen by fraud!
Contrary to what the Left and its media mouthpieces want us to believe,
voter fraud is real…and national “vote-by-mail” and
other liberal schemes (like “ballot harvesting” and same-day
voter registration) erode the all-important safeguards against voter fraud
that protect the honesty of our elections.
And the Left’s attacks on election integrity are not
going to end on Election Day!
That’s why I am sure that, like me, you want us to be fully
prepared for the legal fray for honest elections. Please
make your best donation today to support our important
work. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Thomas Fitton President
