Huge news out of Kansas: Far-right Republican Roger Marshall just won the GOP nomination for Senate. That means that Democrat Dr. Barbara Bollier officially has a general election opponent.

Marshall is staunchly anti-choice, and he’s also an excellent fundraiser. He outraised his primary opponent by nearly 3x.

Kansas hasn’t elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1932, but it elected a Democrat Governor in 2018. And, polls show Barbara has the momentum.

NPR is reporting that Barbara has a real shot at winning. This’ll be tough, but if 2018 taught us anything, it’s that Democrats can win anywhere so long as we raise the money and do the work.
