John, we recently asked you to take a survey to help us understand which issues mattered the most to you. On the one hand, we know they all matter – threats to free and fair elections in November, housing that’s too expensive, ICE and the National Guard deployed to our cities, rising oil and gas prices, and more. But it’s still helpful to hear directly from you about how you rank these and other challenges. 

Thank you for taking the time to tell us. Here's what we found: 

* An overwhelming majority said removing ICE and the National Guard from our communities, stopping the United States from reckless military action overseas, and defending our democracy were the most important issues right now. 

* An overwhelming majority said inflation, the high cost of everyday items, is important but not as important.  

* More than 85% of you said it's "extremely important" to elect Democratic leaders like Chrissy who are fighting to hold the Trump administration accountable. Honestly, since this number is never 100%, what each survey shows is always interesting to us. Are the other 15% Republicans? And Chrissy is the only Democrat they vote for? Or are they Democrats who have given up? Who think we are, as someone said to us, “just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic”? Don’t give up. The stakes are too high, and, together, we can right this ship.    

We're grateful that you take the time to complete these surveys, John, and we can't underscore enough how important your feedback is. This reelection campaign is all about you – and your responses are critical in shaping the fight to secure progress for you, your family, and our communities.

As we get closer and closer to the election, our expenses go up. We hire organized people to help mobilize volunteers, web-savvy people to update our website, and more. And inflation hits us the same way it does you – we’re spending more on the same quantity of gas, food, and office supplies, for example.
