Learn: Our guest speaker is Karen Campblin, co-chair of Green New Deal Virginia and chair of the Political Action Committee of the Fairfax County NAACP. She will talk with us about the environmental justice landscape in Virginia with a focus on how best to support the NAACP’s work in the county and what to expect for the Green New Deal in 2021.

Discuss: We will share updates on some exciting climate action happening at the county level, including progress on the Community-Wide Energy and Climate Action Plan and the recent Fairfax Green Initiatives board matter.

Act: We are continuing to work with our partners to elevate meaningful opportunities to help out in our communities and across Virginia during the pandemic, and we will share several of these opportunities during the meeting.
