Following on our commitment to the Young People's Platform, we have interviewed candidates for early endorsement and are now recommending 8 candidates who we feel can live up to our platform at this time. Join us Wednesday, August 12th at 7PM to hear from these candidates and submit your vote!

This meeting is all about voting so after our early endorsement vote, we will have a panel of speakers talking about the 19th amendment, Voting Rights Act, ACA 8, and all things voting! We will end the night with our special guest speaker, Senator Tom Umberg!

“Harley Rouda, an endorsed OCYD candidate running for re-election for Congress in CA-48, is an advocate for young people in the district and fights for the values we care about, such as climate change action. His opponent, Michelle Steele, is a Trump advisor, anti-LGBT, anti-mask, and is the number one fundraiser in the country for Republican challengers. This is the Republicans’ top race, and according to Leader McCarthy, President Trump himself is watching this closer than the rest.


We must help Harley keep this seat so he can continue advocating for the values that we hold dear. Making calls is the best way to reach voters during this COVID-19 crisis.
