It’s official: Dr. Barbara Bollier is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Kansas.
The most recent poll shows that Barbara is tied with her GOP opponent, Trump ally Roger Marshall. It’s clear she has what it takes to flip this seat in November.
Political forecasters are saying that this seat is in play. FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver said polls “show Kansas close” and CNN called it “one of the biggest headaches for Republicans.”
If we stand with Barbara, she can flip this seat and help us claim a Democratic Senate majority.
And we need Barbara’s leadership in the Senate in this critical moment more than ever. She’d be the first ever female physician to serve -- and she’ll be a voice of reason in the fight against COVID-19, our work to expand access to affordable health care, and so much more.
Meanwhile, Barbara’s GOP opponent is focused on the same old partisan fights, like repealing the Affordable Care Act, denying science, and minimizing the COVID-19 crisis.
