I have some very exciting news to share with you today,
John:

Last night, DFA-endorsed progressives pulled off huge victories in
Arizona, Michigan, and Missouri. In fact, we are waiting on the results in
one very tight race, and if that candidate pulls through, we will have
swept all of our primaries yesterday.

First, Rep. Rashida Tlaib overcame a well-funded challenge from the
establishment to win her primary in Michigan's 13th District. In less than
two years in Congress, Rashida has not only become a national force in the
fight for Medicare for All and the Green New Deal, but a true fighter for
her constituents on everything from pension benefits to replacing the lead
pipes contaminating the water. It’s clear Michigan voters agree.

Then, Jon Hoadley won the primary in Michigan's 6th District by building a
strong, people-powered campaign. This is the roadmap for how progressives
will win in November, and it's how Jon will defeat the 17-term incumbent
Republican Congressman, Fred Upton.

In Missouri, voters re-elected progressive reformer Tishaura Jones as St.
Louis’s Treasurer. And in Arizona, voters elected a half-dozen
progressives to local positions throughout the state. These victories were
part of a big night for DFA-endorsed progressives across the country.

DFA is proud to have stood with all of these progressive champions from
the very beginning, and we still have a few candidates with critical
primaries in the coming weeks. What’s more, we will be working hard to
make sure we elect even more progressives like them this fall. Will you
