The Hill: "100 Days: Democrats see clear path to Senate majority"

Before you head out for the weekend, I want to share some great news with you.

Experts say that Democrats have a clear path to winning the Senate majority.

With only 95 days left until the election, we've expanded the map and our momentum is growing. We need to keep this up from now until November.

I started the Southwest Leadership Fund to support Democrats running for the U.S. Senate, and that's precisely what we need to do now if we're going to turn the Senate blue and remove Majority Leader Mitch McConnell from power. If you can, please chip in a few dollars to the SLF before the end-of-month deadline at midnight tonight.

When it comes to getting things done, the Senate Majority means everything.

Whichever party controls the Majority decides what votes we take and what legislation we consider. And while in leadership, McConnell has used his power to block hundreds of important measures.

If we take back the Senate this fall, we could take action on:

Protecting the Affordable Care Act and lowering the cost of prescription drugs
Preserving public lands and combating the climate crisis
Honoring the memory of Rep. John Lewis by protecting voting rights and putting an end to voter suppression

In just 95 days, we have the chance to create real progress for our country just as we need it the most.
