Jack,

There’s a lot of negativity in the world. For this week’s Two-Dollar
Tuesday, I wanted to focus on some things that make me feel hopeful.

Our neighbors. Blizzard Elsa knocked out power for 170,000 households,
shut down roads and closed schools. And across the state, Wisconsinites
showed up — snow-blowing each other's driveways, opening warming centers
in Sheboygan, staging Red Cross shelters for stranded drivers. No one
waited to be asked.

The courts are fighting back. Federal judges keep blocking this
administration's overreach — on tariffs, on immigration, on the
independence of the Federal Reserve. And right here in Wisconsin, ten
companies are suing for refunds on the $3.5 billion our businesses paid in
illegal tariffs last year.

We keep winning. Progressive candidates have won 18 of the last 23
statewide races in Wisconsin since 2017. Fair maps are finally in place.
Democrats have a real shot at flipping the state Senate this fall.

This campaign. Last night we held a virtual meetup with dozens of our
Super Volunteers — and I asked them what keeps them going. They talked
about building community and believing we can build something bigger and
better for this state. These are people giving their time, their energy —
because they believe Wisconsin is worth fighting for. They're right.

campaign that goes the distance — and the chance to enact real, positive
change in Wisconsin.
