Patriot,

Donald Trump has never been known as one to speak softly.

But now, he and his top aides are working silently behind the scenes with a big stick to ram through Section 702 renewal without any reform!

Just two days ago, POLITICO reported:

President Donald Trump wants Congress to sidestep internal debates and extend a key surveillance program — and he has made the demand directly to key Hill Republicans. Lawmakers in both parties want to put new restrictions to prevent the intelligence community from searching program data for Americans without a warrant.

Trump has instead asked for a straight extension with no changes.

Patriot, even though some Republicans follow everything Trump asks for without question, this battle is far from over.

Two years ago, Republicans and Democrats were on the verge of renewing Section 702 but with a warrant requirement as the Constitution demands ([link removed]).

But moments before a crucial vote in the bill’s final committee, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), made a curious and ominous statement about a “serious national security threat.”

Turner’s statement turned out to be a farce, but he managed to derail the good bill before it reached the House floor.

This forced us to fight for an amendment on the House floor, which we lost by just one vote.

Many representatives –- on both sides of the aisle -– have called for a warrant requirement before renewing Section 702.

Now it’s time for them to stop giving us lip service and demand the warrant requirement ([link removed]).[link removed] ([link removed])

The House Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), will be voting on this issue very soon, and it is CRITICAL you and I make our voices heard!

Plain and simple, Americans shouldn’t be spied on by our own government without just cause and without a proper warrant.

The Fourth Amendment guarantees that right to you and me.

Of course, some in Congress have called for another kind of reform to Section 702 . . . self-serving reform.

They’ve asked for a requirement that if the Deep State spies on a member of Congress, that senator or representative must be notified.

They aren’t concerned about the Deep State going through your emails, text messages, phone calls, social media posts, or Internet activity . . . they only care about themselves.
([link removed])
You and I need to make sure our representatives are respecting our rights too ([link removed])!

While we’ve been reaching out to your senators and representative demanding the warrant requirement be included in any renewal of Section 702, now it’s time to turn up the heat ([link removed]).

Our focus now is on the House Judiciary Committee where there are many representatives who have supported the warrant requirement in the past, including the chairman, Jim Jordan, and members like Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Chip Roy (R-TX), and Zoe Lofgren (D-CA).

There are enough representatives on the Judiciary Committee to ultimately sink Section 702 renewal without the guardrails to protect innocent Americans like you and me.
([link removed])
That’s why I’m asking you to sign your petition to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee members now ([link removed]), demanding the warrant requirement be included in any 702 renewal efforts.
[link removed] ([link removed])
For years, the Deep State has skirted and abused the Constitution by spying on innocent Americans.

President Trump decried the 702 abuses when it was revealed his campaign was spied on during the 2016 election.

But now that the shoe is on the other foot and he’s in the White House, Trump and his Deep State advisors don’t want to give up the ability to scoop up your private information and look at it.
([link removed])
It’s time to stop that now ([link removed])!

You and I need to make sure the members of the House Judiciary Committee hear you and me and thousands upon thousands of other Americans: defend our rights and follow the Constitution!

Sign your petition here now ([link removed]).

P.S. Donald Trump is asking for a straight-up 18-month renewal of the Spy State’s Crown Jewel – FISA Section 702.

They want to keep their Stasi-like power to spy on innocent Americans without just cause and without a warrant.

You and I need to speak up now, more so than ever before ([link removed]).

There are enough representatives on the Judiciary Committee to sink Section 702 renewal without the guardrails to protect innocent Americans like you and me.

That’s why I’m asking you to sign your petition to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee members now ([link removed]), demanding the warrant requirement be included in any 702 renewal efforts.
