🌹 This Week in DSA-LA...🌹
Los Angeles needs leaders who actually fight—against ICE, billionaires, and the Trump administration, and for affordable housing, a sustainable city, and a free Palestine. That’s why we have endorsed six of our fellow members who are ready to create real change in LA.
If you want to see a Los Angeles that works for the many, not the few, sign up to a canvass near you! First-timers welcome!
Postcarding is a great way to meet like-minded Angelenos and spread the word about our endorsed candidates! We have weekly meet-ups across LA.
We’re socialists. We don’t need to tell you that the corporations, bosses, and billionaires are destroying our society, our future, and our environment just so they can make a quick buck.
But in 2026, we’re going to force them to fund the services that we desperately need by passing UHW’s Billionaire Tax and UNITE HERE! 11’s Overpaid CEO Tax.
Sun, Mar 22, 10am
Location TBA
Make Angelenos happy by letting them know we're about to TAX THE RICH as we gather signatures for these state and local petitions.
We will be tabling at comedy shows across LA for the month of March! We’re looking for volunteers to help gather signatures to get the Overpaid CEO Tax on the ballot before enjoying the show!

At this orientation, we’ll talk about what capitalism is, how it functions, and why socialism is ideologically opposed to it. Participants will also learn about the history of our organization and our chapter in particular, the current projects we’re working on, and how you can get involved.
