BIG NEWS! The New York Times projects that Squad member Rashida Tlaib
(MI-13) and bold progressive Jon Hoadley (MI-06) have won their
congressional primaries in Michigan! Climate activist Beth Doglio (WA-10)
also appears likely to be headed to the General Election in November.

CNN reports "The progressive left is hot, hot, hot in Democratic primaries
right now."

Donate here to Ilhan Omar, Ed Markey, and others to help win another wave
of progressive primaries!

Already this year, PCCC-backed candidates have scored major victories
including Kara Eastman (NE-2), Marie Newman (IL-3), Jamaal Bowman (NY-16),
Mondaire Jones (NY-17), Ritchie Torres (NY-15), Dana Balter (NY-24),
Candace Valenzuela (TX-24), Mike Siegel (TX-10), Georgette Gomez (CA-53),
and AOC (NY-14).

We've raised over $31 million over the years for progressive candidates
and committees, including hundreds of thousands in recent months for
candidates this cycle. PCCC members donated $83,000 via 10,459 donations
to keep Rashida Tlaib in Congress, and over $11,000 to Jon Hoadley's
campaign to defeat Republican Fred Upton -- one of the environment's worst
enemies in Congress.

the next one is tomorrow and there is still time to add Get Out The Vote
resources!

Each of these progressives have hard-fought primaries coming up:

Ilhan Omar (MN-05) is facing a union-busting corporate lawyer propped up
by corporate interests who raised over $3.2 million last quarter in
Pro-Trump corporate money. The Washington Post reports "That money has
funded a steady stream of direct mail and TV ads against Omar." Ilhan's
boldness in Congress has led Trump and other Republicans to make vicious,
racist attacks against her. Ilhan says, "I was honored to be part of the
first PCCC National Candidate Training in 2015 when I was first running
for office.” #WeStandWithIlhan! [ [link removed] ]Donate to Ilhan here.

Sen. Ed Markey is a close ally of AOC and Elizabeth Warren and a true
progressive champion! Sen. Markey was the first senator to stand with AOC
for a Green New Deal, one of the first elected leaders to fight for Net
Neutrality, and the first senator to publicly reject campaign cash from
the Fraternal Order of Police as they try to block police reform. He's
running for reelection against Joe Kennedy III, who has no real reason to
be in the Senate race, even saying "[Ed Markey] does an incredible job
representing our Commonwealth in the United States Senate." [ [link removed] ]Donate to
Sen. Markey here.

Kai Kahele (HI-02) is a state senator and nonprofit director running in
the August 8 primary for the Hawaii 2nd Congressional District left open
due to Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's decision not to run for re-election. Kai's
platform includes Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a $15 minimum
wage. He is endorsed by the PCCC, Congressional Progressive Caucus
co-chairs Rep. Mark Pocan and Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Reps. Hakeem Jeffries,
Mark Takano, Sen. Brian Schatz, Howard Dean, Fmr. Rep. Kaniela Ing,
Planned Parenthood, Daily Kos, AFSCME, Iron Workers, and many others.

Keeda Haynes (TN-05) is running in the August 6 primary for Tennessee’s
5th Congressional District against Blue Dog Rep. Jim Cooper, who has sided
against progressive causes for 30 years. As Keeda told PCCC members on a
[ [link removed] ]Zoom call, when she was 22 years old she was incarcerated for a crime
she didn't commit -- and ever since that time, she's worked to improve our
justice system and support those impacted by its injustices. Keeda is a
proud supporter of Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, criminal justice
reform, paid family leave, and access to prenatal care for all pregnant
women. She is endorsed by the PCCC, Indivisible, Democracy for America,
Sunrise Movement (Nashville chapter), and Our Revolution. [ [link removed] ]Donate to
Keeda here.

[ [link removed] ]Please chip in $3 to the campaigns of Ilhan Omar, Sen. Ed Markey, Kai
Kahele, Keeda Haynes, and our work to elect them and other progressives
all across the country!

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
