After more than two decades of war in South Sudan, over 2 million people have been displaced from their home. Because of the economic meltdown, many people cannot find work — and even those who are employed struggle to provide for their families due to inadequate wages. Making the situation even worse, last year’s drought left farmers without a harvest.
Because of generous partners like you, our partners in South Sudan distributed meals, seeds, and other critical supplies to women, children, and families — over 7,000 people received food, clothing, blankets, and more. This aid met immediate physical needs. It also provided opportunities to express the kindness of Jesus and build relationships with government leaders and individuals within their communities.
One partner in South Sudan shared just how grateful they are that you would share God’s relentless love with others: God should bless the hands that give and protect the donors.
