Three years. That’s how long our journalists Shoshana Walter and Amy Julia Harris devoted to investigating how tens of thousands of people being treated for addiction have become an unpaid shadow workforce. What they found over the course of their reporting couldn’t fit into just one episode. So we decided to create our very first serial: American Rehab. In each of the series’ eight episodes, you’ll hear stories that will shock, enrage and inspire you.
