Tomorrow is night two of the second round of Democratic presidential debates. The night my friend Joe Biden will take the stage. It's also our big end-of-month deadline.

I have known Joe for decades. I served with Joe in the Senate for eight years and watched him lead our nation as the Vice President. I have been up close to see him fight for everything from a stronger economy and a more robust workforce to access to affordable health care.

I've also seen President Trump drag our country backward, relentlessly attacking our health care, the environment, and our most deeply held values.

It's clear as day: We need new leadership.

But Joe needs our support before he can get to the White House and help put our country back on the right path.
