Friends and Neighbors,

Today marks the beginning of our general election against Ann Wagner, and before things really pick up, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you! Our campaign is as strong as it is today because of you, and I am so grateful.

The dedication of this team has grown our grassroots campaign into a movement of people working to bring meaningful change to our community. As we look toward these final months, I wanted to share a few highlights of all the work our staff and volunteers have done leading up to the primary election.

With 577 volunteers dedicating their time to our campaign thus far, we have been able to:
→ Make over 100,000 phone calls
→ Send over 150,000 text messages
→ Recruit and send 140 people to safely greet voters at the polls on Primary Day

There is so much more work to do between now and November, but as I look over these numbers, I am inspired and energized by the commitment of this grassroots team. And I am incredibly proud that everything we do is backed by real people, not corporate PACs or special interests.

Friend, I know we have a tough road ahead, and we will certainly face challenges between now and Election Day, but I can’t imagine a better team to have on my side. Whether you’ve made calls, texted voters, gone to the polls, signed a petition, or chipped in financially: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

 I know this is a difficult time for many, which is why I'm working harder than ever to bring positive change to Washington. I hope you'll consider donating to our campaign only if you can afford to do so. Above all else, take care of yourself and your friends, family, and neighbors. I know I am not alone when I say, our hearts go out to the people who are doing the hard work of caring for us: in the hospitals, in our stores, by delivering our mail, providing care and being there for emergencies.
