As we enter the month of August, I just wanted to send a thank you out to all of my supporters.

A couple months ago, we won the primary election despite being outspent five to one. This is a people-powered campaign, and I will always put the people and communities of Indiana’s First Congressional District first.

These are serious times with unprecedented challenges for our region and nation. As your Member of Congress, I will continue to work to bring our region together and address the COVID-19 health crisis, the economic slowdown, and the injustices in our communities.

With your support, we can continue to make investments in our economy and public transportation infrastructure, including the expansion and recapitalization of the South Shore Rail Line. We also can continue to work to attract more people and businesses to the environmental wonders of our lakeshore, including our Indiana Dunes National Park. 

I am grateful every day for your engagement in our region and your continued support for my campaign to be your U.S. Representative.
