When Ohioans are required to provide private personal information to participate in our democracy, they deserve absolute confidence that their data will be protected.
But according to recent reports, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose shared detailed voter registration data from nearly 8 million Ohioans with the US Department of Justice, raising serious concerns about how sensitive voter information is being handled.
You deserve a Secretary of State who will protect your private information — full stop. If you agree, pitch in to join my fight to restore integrity to the Ohio Secretary of State’s office. ([link removed])

This wasn’t just public voter information, Friend.
The data included sensitive personal details, like the last four digits of Social Security and driver’s license numbers — information voters are required to provide in order to register and access their fundamental right to vote.
And it was turned over as part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to collect detailed voter information from states across the country.
States like Michigan and Pennsylvania have already refused such requests, and when the federal government has sued them for doing so, federal courts have sided with the states and reaffirmed that states are responsible for administering elections.
Frank LaRose had the chance to protect Ohioans and join the states standing up for voter privacy. Instead, he sold out our voters to make Trump happy.
You deserve a Secretary of State you can trust to protect the interests of Ohio voters, and that’s why I’m running to flip this seat. If you can, please support my campaign so we can put voters — not special interests — back at the forefront. ([link removed])

This is extremely disappointing. And it just reaffirms our need to elect a Secretary of State who will advocate for voters, not the interests of the federal government.
Thanks for joining my fight.
