Last night, Cori Bush won her primary in Missouri's 1st Congressional District, defeating a 19-year incumbent who had establishment Democrats, corporate money, and a multi-generational political dynasty on his side.

I am so excited for Cori — and I cannot wait to join forces with her in Congress to fight for the working class and to cause trouble for the status quo in Washington. Will you split a contribution between our campaigns to commemorate her historic win?

One of the biggest reasons why I chose to endorse Cori before her primary is because I felt it important to show my support for our growing progressive coalition — and her win from last night all but confirms this fact.

While she ran and lost her primary back in 2018, Cori never stopped building the movement. She continued to organize, speak up, and advocate for change, inspiring countless others to join her in this fight. And this time around, because of her hard work and dedication, along with the hard work of her staff, volunteers, and supporters, she won.

Cori's win is proof that people — from the Bronx to St. Louis and everywhere in between — are ready to fight for bold, systemic change that meets the moment we're currently in.
