To those who volunteered your time, chipped in whatever you could afford, and voted and encouraged your friends and family to vote, thank you.
We've accomplished so much together over the past two years since we flipped the 8th District blue for the first time ever in 2018.
As votes are being counted, we still don't know who our Republican opponent will be for the general election. But we do know that national Republicans have already made it clear they're targeting our district.
Republicans can't take back the House majority without winning Washington's 8th District, so it's only a matter of time before the attacks start. With less than 90 days left before the election, we need to prepare right now for whatever may come our way.
