John, I have a personal request:

For 22 years I have fought in Congress for progress, turning over every stone, using every resource available to make a meaningful difference for our most vulnerable communities.

But for every day I have fought, the Republican machine has been there to push back — sabotaging progressive legislation to please their dark money donors.

For too long, the wealthy and powerful have controlled Washington while ignoring the voices of our most vulnerable — and lining their pockets with the fruits of our labor. Enough.

With fewer than 100 days to the most important election of our lifetimes — we can’t afford to sit back and do nothing. We need to muster every ounce of strength we have to dismantle the right-wing’s death grip on Washington.

So, I’m asking:

Will you please chip in $10 to help us stop Republicans from making a mockery of our democracy? Every dollar you give will go straight toward getting special-interest money out of politics and putting power back in the hands of the American people.
