“It is what it is.”

That’s what Donald Trump said in a new interview with Axios in response to 1,000 Americans dying every single day from COVID-19. And while we’re working hard in Congress to extend jobless benefits and provide states with the resources they need to keep their citizens safe, Donald Trump is calling us “crazy” or “radical left” actors who only care about “blue states.”

It’s obscene.

I’m working day and night to fix the mess President Trump got us into. While the adults are at the table trying to get work done, the baby screams for attention and breaks everything in a tantrum. It’s honestly absolutely infuriating.

All the while, Americans are dying. Americans are losing their jobs. Americans are falling behind on their bills, and they’re worried about what happens next. I will not lose focus on what has to get done, but I have to tell you -- I’m livid about why it has to get done in the first place.
