Democracy Needs Us
Self Care for Womxn Running the Revolution

Hey John,

I get it. Between work, family and friends, ongoing coronavirus fears, the movement for justice and crucial Black Lives Matter work, plus the whirlwind 2020 election, it's a struggle to process everything going on.

We're here to help.

Today at 5pm ET, we are launching the first session of our first ever self care series for womxn of color in our movement. We'll be joined by New York Assemblymember Catalina Cruz, Rebecca Dominguez, and Diamellia Williams for real talk on the stress womxn of color face in politics and daily life and how we can use self care as a way to reclaim our time and our minds. Sound intriguing? Then save your spot to join us at this important conversation!

If you can't participate today, you can also RSVP for part two of our series and join us on Friday at 5pm ET for a conversation with Retha Fernandez and Shana Gladden on how womxn can process stress, heal, and recharge so we can keep getting into good trouble.

I've said it before, but it's worth a reminder: self care isn't selfish. It's critical to our movement. Make sure you are the best version of yourself for you, your community, and our movement. Join us to gain the skills you need to grow personally and professionally during this difficult time.

Hope to see you there,
