Last month, a federal judge in Maryland suspended a rule that requires people seeking abortion during the corona virus pandemic to visit a hospital, clinic, or medical office to obtain abortion pills. [1]

While we are excited to see that our work fighting the overregulation of abortion pills is working, we know that it’s not just a pandemic that makes people seek abortion care and chose a self-managed abortion with pills.

We want people to have access to all reproductive healthcare choices at all times. Period.

Abortion pills are a safe and effective way to end a pregnancy. But anti-choice leaders and politicians continue to overregulate their sale and distribution, actively denying people seeking abortion care access to this option.
