I’m Mandela’s Finance Director, which means I’m usually poring over our numbers instead of writing these emails.

But today, I wanted to reach out and give you a peek behind the curtain — and of course, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t ask you to consider making a donation ahead of our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline!

This campaign moves fast.

We’re traveling to meet voters in every corner of the state, responding to attacks from Tom Tiffany and his MAGA dark money machine, amplifying Mandela’s message, and more.

All of that takes resources — and the more we raise, the more voters we can win over. Every dollar brings us one step closer to keeping this governor’s seat blue and delivering for working families.

And to be honest…

My job would be a whole lot easier if Mandela took corporate PAC donations. It would mean that we’d have huge checks coming in the door instead of budgeting every dollar. I could kick back and hang out with our campaign spokespup, Arthur!

But that’s not how we roll.

As a team, we’re proud to be accountable to this grassroots community of supporters instead of billionaires or special interests. We rely on folks giving what they can, when they can, in order to win this race and defeat far-right extremism here in Wisconsin.
