Listening to You

One of my top priorities is being available and accessible to you. This week, I joined members of our community in Burlington to listen to their ideas, share updates on my work in Washington, and discuss ways to move our nation forward.

It was a great conversation and we covered topics including:

  • The cost of energy
  • Making healthcare more affordable for American families
  • How changes to tax laws are making life more affordable for working families and seniors
    • This year tax refunds are 10% higher compared to 2025
  • Ways I am working to help workers and employers build and expand in Wisconsin
  • The ongoing conflict with Iran

During the ongoing conflict with Iran it's important that we fund DHS, particularly as potential security threats rise. I will continue to work to fund DHS.

As always, feel free to contact my office if you have any questions, want to share an opinion, or are having trouble with a federal agency.
