Team,

The gridlock in Washington is downright awful.

Most of it can be chalked up to one person’s refusal to make any progress: Mitch McConnell.

But the good news is this is a democracy. And he’s up for re-election in 2020.

Today, his road to holding on to the Senate gavel just got a whole lot harder. Amy McGrath -- a former Marine fighter pilot -- just jumped into the race to represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate.

Right now, Amy needs our help to start this grassroots campaign off strong. Can you rush a split contribution to elect Amy and send Mitch McConnell packing in 2020?

It’s hard to overstate just how much progress Mitch McConnell has blocked in his three decades in Washington.

He’s put the interests of lobbyists and the big dark money groups ahead of his own constituents, tried time and time again to repeal the Affordable Care Act and jammed through a tax bill to benefit his big donors and the country’s largest corporations.

Plenty of bills I’ve worked on have gathered enough support from both sides of the aisle to pass -- only for McConnell to refuse to call a vote.

He has to go.

And let me tell you, Amy McGrath would be one hell of an upgrade for the people of Kentucky.

Someone who served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan and was the first woman to fly in a combat mission for the Marine Corps won’t back down from a fight with Mitch McConnell.

Let’s make sure she has what it takes to win. Pitch in here to help elect Amy to the U.S. Senate and beat Mitch McConnell >>
