Today's President Obama's birthday, team!
As a birthday gift, we're answering Obama's call to honor the
late Representative John Lewis by demanding that Senate
Republicans work with Democrats to pass the Voting Rights
Advancement Act, which has been sitting on Mitch McConnell's desk
collecting dust.
Will you sign on now to support this bill to overturn the 2013
SCOTUS decision that is making it harder for Black Americans to
vote?

Barack Obama said it best in his eulogy: "[John Lewis] as much as
anyone in our history brought this country a little bit closer to
our highest ideals."
Meanwhile, Republicans like Mitch McConnell shamefully continue
to attack voting rights nationwide.
They've taken advantage of the Supreme Court's Shelby v. Holder
decision against the Voting Rights Act by enacting racist
voter-ID laws and shutting down hundreds of polling locations.
Republicans are doing everything in their power to suppress the
votes of Black Americans.
Our voter protection team has hit the ground running to protect
our voting rights - but we need your help.
Now is the time to take a stand against their efforts to silence
voters - sign on to demand the Senate call a vote on this bill!
