I can hardly believe it — it’s August!  As we close in on November, our campaign is getting busier by the day and today, I have a few big updates to share with you:

• ICYMI - President Obama endorsed Lizzie!  President Obama knows our race is crucial — not only for the future of the House Majority but also for the future of Houston and our country. He described Lizzie as thoughtful, empathetic, and highly qualified — exactly the kind of leader we need in Congress, especially right now.


• Lizzie was also endorsed by the Houston GLBT Political Caucus.  Lizzie is committed to the Caucus’ mission to combat prejudice, violence, and injustice against the LGBTQ community, and she’s committed to fighting for equality, including codifying equal protections under the law by making the Equality Act the law of the land.

• There are only 90 days left until Election Day!  Everything we do from now until November matters, and we need everyone to get involved if we’re going to bring home a victory for Houstonians on November 3rd.  Now is a great time to follow us @_TeamLizzie for updates, news, and volunteer opportunities!


• TOMORROW marks the day yard signs can officially go up across the district even if your neighborhood has restrictions.  If you need a yard sign, sign up at lizziefletcher.com/yardsigns and someone will deliver directly to your yard!

This is such an important time for our campaign, and you play a crucial role in building a strong campaign that will win on Election Day.  Thank you again for all you do.
