Daily Caller is a far-right cesspool with a history of publishing misinformation and hiring white supremacists and bigots -- yet Facebook has made it an official third-party fact checker!

Now this “neutral” fact checker is sending fundraising emails for Donald Trump!

Fact-checking is supposed to be fair and non-partisan. There is simply no way Daily Caller meets the standard. Call on Facebook to remove their fact-checking status now!

Facebook says it cares about disinformation, even parading CEO Mark Zuckerberg out a couple of weeks ago to address some policy tweaks.

But in reality, it’s giving blatantly biased “news” sources like Daily Caller — owned by Tucker Carlson! — the power to decide what is true and false. And Daily Caller is using that power to boost Trump and discredit mainstream outlets like Politico, even on crucial issues like Covid-19.

This isn't the first time Daily Caller has sent a Trump fundraising email, but it needs to be the final straw. A partisan sponsor of Trump’s re-election campaign simply can’t be allowed to be a fact-checker.
