Last Tuesday’s Democratic primaries showed that Democrats are clamoring for Latino representation in government.

Across Texas, Latino candidates won primary after primary. Gina Hinojosa swept the Democratic primary for Texas Governor, setting up a showdown with Governor Greg Abbott. In Texas’ 15th Congressional district, Tejano music legend Bobby Pulido won his primary to take on Republican Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz. In Texas’ 29th district, BOLD PAC member Sylvia Garcia won her primary handily.

As Chairwoman of BOLD PAC, I have dedicated my career to helping elect Latino candidates to Congress. It has been my pride and joy to see Congress continue to become a more representative legislative body.

This midterms season is shaping up to be a landmark year in Latino representation. From Analilia Mejía in New Jersey to JoAnna Mendoza in Arizona, BOLD PAC endorsed candidates are set to win big in November.
