Hello,
Like the day he was born, I'll never forget the day Hakeem was first sworn into Congress. My husband Marland and I worked to raise Hakeem with a public service spirit, and I think it's safe to say that spirit stuck with him.
Hakeem was born to serve his community. I believe we need his passion and dedication to public service more than ever before.
I'm reaching out to see if you can help me with something, John xxxxxx. Today is Hakeem's birthday, and he's turning 50! I want to make it Hakeem's best birthday yet, but I need your help.
Will you take a few moments to sign his birthday card? His team wants to share it with him before the end of the day, and I know how much it would mean to him to see your name:
These past few months have been challenging for our country, and our nation is experiencing some much-needed growing pains. It's been a privilege to watch Hakeem rise to the challenge and lead us into this new chapter together.
I am so very proud of the work Hakeem has been doing in Congress. I look forward to seeing him continue to lead for years to come.
Warmly,
Laneda Jeffries
