Dear PFAW Member,
For the sake of transparency, I’ll give you the not-so-great news first: We fell slightly short of our July budget target.
Now here’s the good news: Our July goal was ambitious, and was always going to be hard to beat, but based on the energy we’re seeing from PFAW members like you, I’m more than confident that we’ll make up last month’s budget gap of just over $20,000 this month and we won’t have to pull anything back from our 2020 programs and campaigns.
Here’s why:
Nearly 13,000 online PFAW supporters (!!!) stepped up with donations in July to fund our more-sophisticated-and-bigger-than-ever voter outreach programs to defeat Trump Republicans up and down the ballot – our largest number of donations of any month so far this year!
That includes:
An amazing response to the appeal from PFAW founder Norman Lear on his 98th birthday
Funding ads and other work in key U.S. Senate races like Iowa
Boosting Democratic Senate candidates in incredibly tight races like the Doug Jones race in Alabama and Jamie Harrison’s in South Carolina
Continued support for our growing Latino voter outreach programs
Investment in more digital tools and tactics to maximize volunteer engagement and voter outreach safely in the new COVID environment
And more…
THANK YOU for all of your amazing support and for doing everything you can to defeat Trump, flip the Senate, elect progressive champions at every level of government, and build a progressive future.
Together we WILL bring about a new progressive era rooted in the values of justice, equality, and democracy for all.
