Today is my birthday, and I point that out only because I've been reflecting on what the past year has meant for me, my family, and our country.

And while this birthday is certainly like no other, one thing is clear: this year has already been transformative for the country, and we have to harness the power of this historic moment.

That's why I'm committed to doing everything I can over these next three months to make sure we elect Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot, and why I'm asking you to do the same. Because whatever we've done already is not enough. We have to do more.

So, here's what I'm asking you to do: will you commit right now to volunteering for Joe Biden in the final 91 days of this campaign? I can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than knowing thousands of Democrats are coming together to do whatever it takes to win in November.

I got my start in public service as a community organizer. And during every one of my campaigns, I saw the power of grassroots volunteers to change the world.

Without grassroots supporters like you, I wouldn't have been elected President, and Joe Biden wouldn't have been elected Vice President. I know that to be true, and so does Joe.

So if you're as fired up as I am to make sure we elect Joe Biden in November, put a real leader in the White House, and get back to the government actually working for the people -- will you commit to volunteering today?
