John, it's primary election day!

I can’t tell you how proud I am of our team that’s worked day in and out over the past year to give Southwest Washington a true fighter in Congress: Carolyn Long.

We’ve still got a few hours left to contact voters and get out the vote, so before I get back on the phone, I wanted to give you a quick update on next steps you can take to support Carolyn.

First thing’s first: If you haven’t already, make sure to either return your ballot by mail (postmarked today) or deposit it in an official drop box by 8 PM tonight.

Second, we just launched our newest ad today that tells some of Carolyn’s family’s experience struggling with the costs of health care, and how her opponent has bragged that she “voted more than 80 times” to repeal the Affordable Care Act. As you know, the ACA protects coverage for tens of millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions – and Jaime Herrera Beutler eagerly wants to get rid of it. See for yourself here.
