Throughout the global health crisis, Rise Against Hunger’s priority is supporting 2 million people we serve worldwide, 400,000 of whom are students. In 15 countries where we work, school feeding programs have reported partial or countrywide shelter-in-place policies, leaving more than half of the  children we serve unable to access our nutritious meals in a school setting. Reaching the hands of students at risk this back-to-school season is possible with YOUR help!

Providing nutritious meals through school feeding programs worldwide is one of the cornerstones of our efforts to end hunger. One of our meal assistance programs is in Somaliland, where the distribution of food will require further efforts due to COVID-19 and ongoing crises in the region. Since August 2019, our organization has met the needs of students at five schools in Somaliland — so now we’re asking you to join us there, and in countries around the globe, to make it possible again this year in the midst of the global pandemic.

By donating today, you’ll ensure that students in schools can continue their journey out of hunger and poverty, even in this time of extreme crisis. We’re asking for help in two areas: You can provide a child with school supplies and protective supplies for the school year ahead during COVID-19, or provide ongoing support during this challenging time.
