As we move into spring, several key infrastructure projects are scheduled to begin or continue throughout the Village. These investments support long-term reliability, safety and service improvements for our community. Below is a snapshot of what residents can expect in the months ahead.

Preparing for Lake Michigan Water: Receiving Stations
*What:* Construction and upgrades to convert three well sites into Lake Michigan water receiving stations.
*Where:* Ogden Falls (Well No. 7), 700 Cole Ave. (Well No. 10) and Tuscany Trail (Well No. 11).
Work includes a new pumping station and one-million-gallon storage tank at Ogden Falls, along with retrofitting existing well houses at wells 10 and 11. The DuPage Water Commission will also install meter stations at each site, with that portion of construction planned for 2026–27. These improvements are a critical step in transitioning to Lake Michigan water.

Construction is expected to begin this spring and progress east. Within Oswego, the transmission main will first connect at Well No. 10. This project is essential to bringing a sustainable, long-term water supply to the community.
