Why are you a Democrat?

There’s no right or wrong answer to this question. Everyone has their own reason for getting involved and supporting the Democratic Party.

While our team at the DNC all have different reasons that motivate us to do this work, we share a belief in the greatness and the potential of our country and have a desire to restore fairness, accountability, and effectiveness that is currently missing from our government.

That’s our reason. What’s yours?

Maybe you got involved because you believe in the power of the collective and what we can do for our neighbors when we work together.

Maybe you’ve experienced greedy Republicans making it harder to access the health care you need.

And maybe you’re just tired of the lies coming out of the White House and are worried about Trump’s claims that he could run for a third term.

Team, this is a pivotal moment in our nation’s history, and what we do going into November will determine our next chapter. Whatever your reason, we’re glad that you chose to join our fight.
