NYT: Senator Susan Collins, a vulnerable Republican senator, trails Sara Gideon in a new Maine poll

Susan Collins’ approval rating has plummeted. Five different polls show Sara Gideon in the lead. Democrats are closer than ever to flipping this Senate seat.

But there’s bad news, too: Mitch McConnell and wealthy Repulican donors know that this is going to be a tight race, so they’ll spend whatever it takes to help Susan Collins win. They NEED to keep this seat for Republicans if McConnell wants to maintain his Senate majority.

So here comes the part where we ask:

Will you pitch in to help Democrat Sara Gideon defeat Susan Collins? Our race could determine control of the Senate, so this is extremely important.

John, we are in a very good position to flip this Senate seat in November. The polls look very good for us.

But in order to keep up this momentum and WIN, we’ll need lots and lots of people to chip in what they can, when they can. So whatever you can afford to give will be greatly appreciated.
