John - today is primary day in Arizona. It's a big day for our people-powered campaign.

539 days ago we launched this campaign with no idea what to expect. Would we be successful? Would people join our mission for Arizona?

I'm proud to write to you today and say not only have we been successful, but we've earned the support of tens of thousands of people right here in Arizona and across the country -- it's inspiring.

Now we haven't made it this far without our challenges. Mitch McConnell has had it out for us almost since the moment we launched this campaign. He's dedicated millions of dollars to try and defeat us.

And most recently, we suffered a setback I wasn't expecting. Just days ago, we fell short of our July fundraising goal and our Republican opponent outraised us for the first time in our pre-primary fundraising filing.

So we turned to you, and asked for your help to hit an emergency fundraising goal of $250,000 before midnight tonight. I'm happy to say we are closing in on that number, but we still need any last minute support you can give before then. What do you say?
