The 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Fête is just around the corner, and I hope you’ll join us on March 19th. We’ll bring together activists, neighbors, community leaders, and elected officials from across the region for an evening of Irish food, live music, and conversation about the work ahead. 

For decades, the Fête has been where our Democratic community gathers to celebrate our progress and prepare for the fights ahead. And this year, that tradition feels more important than ever.

Tomorrow, I will reach the six-month mark serving in Congress. Representing Virginia’s 11th District has been the honor of a lifetime, and I’m already running for re-election.

Across the nation, we’re seeing what happens when people organize and demand accountability. Just last week, President Trump fired DHS Secretary Kristi Noem after months of unchecked cruelty and corruption. Her firing showed us that when we stand up and expose the truth, pressure can force real consequences.

At the same time, Donald Trump and his MAGA allies are trying to rig the midterm elections by redrawing congressional maps in red states across the country. They know that the only way they can hold power is by changing the rules to benefit themselves. 

That’s why we’re gathering on March 19th to tell them loud and clear: enough is enough. 

Here in Virginia, we believe in fair elections and showing up when it matters most. This spring, Virginians are once again heading to the polls determined to level the playing field and stand up for our democratic values.
