Friend,
It’s Election Day here in Michigan!
Thank you for everything you’ve done to get us to this point. Our team has worked so hard, reaching out to 235,000 residents in Michigan’s 13th district through doorknocking, calls, and texts. But we’ve got one more day to go―today―Election Day!

Today we’re making sure that the thousands of people who haven’t yet voted via absentee ballot show up to the polls by 8 pm tonight.
To build the buzz about today, I’ve changed my Facebook profile frame (see below). Could you join me by temporarily changing your profile frame, too?
Here’s Firas from our team with their Teta (grandmother), using one of our new Facebook profile frames.
And if you have friends or family in Michigan’s 13th district (if they live in or near Detroit, they may be residents!), please share this Facebook post—with helpful tips for people who either have an absentee ballot to drop off today or are planning to go to their polling location to vote.
It’s an honor to serve Michigan’s 13th district and families across the country every day in Congress, including through policy changes and our four neighborhood service centers. In my first term, I’ve already introduced 39 bills and amendments, passing 18 of them through the House of Representatives and signing one into law.
Here are just a few ways our team has worked hard for our district and for working families across the country—and we’re just getting started:
Thank you for being with me each step of the way. Together, we’re fighting for the soul of our nation. Let’s show the power of our progressive, grassroots movement and Get Out the Vote!
Always serving you,
Rashida
