NPR just upgraded Georgia from Lean Republican to Toss-Up after noting that “the demographic trends continue to move in Democrats' favor” in Georgia. The news comes just weeks after the Cook Political Report made the same change to their ratings.
With this latest update, Georgia is now one of just five critical states that NPR is listing as a toss-up.
This shift at the presidential level bodes well for Georgia’s down-ballot races, including our U.S. Senate race. But in order to capitalize on this momentum, we need to hit this week’s fundraising goal of $15,000.
